The God Bud strain is an extremely euphoric and soothing Indica-dominant strain (not to be confused with God’s Gift). God Bud’s genetics include both Sativa and Indica parents, but its Indica side is nearly completely responsible for its effects. Jordan of the Islands, a well-known Canadian seed bank, was the company that first invented God Bud. To develop the “God Bud,” they combined a Hawaiian strain that was almost entirely Sativa with an extremely potent purple Indica strain.

God Bud was a popular strain in Vancouver, British Columbia, dispensaries, and it has received a few honors throughout the years, most notably the High Times Indica Cup in 2004. The strain is currently present all along the West Coast as well as in Colorado.

The strain is quite fluffy and totally covered with trichomes when it is grown properly. In fact, this strain generates so many trichomes that up close, the buds may even appear white.
